This was a greenfield situation where Multiheat was asked to develop and build a total solution for optimal air management. The shed has a surface area of 120 x 21 m. The ventilation is provided via a heat exchanger. The heat exchanger uses the outgoing air to preheat the incoming air. Additional Multiheat hot water heaters are installed in the broiler house, which has the advantage that no combustion gases are released in the inner climate. The result is an optimal air circulation and lots of oxygen at bird level. Also, the ammonia concentrations remain low. The system is very energy efficient. Multiheat designed the air handling system, supplied the components and coordinated the installation on site.
